SRC Proudly Accepts the 2024 CNM Leadership Award!

On Thursday, October 24th, SRC representatives attended the "Salute to Excellence" event, put on by the Center for Nonprofit Management. This ceremony recognizes the achievements of local nonprofit leaders. We are beyond grateful to announce that the Renaissance Center was awarded with the 2024 CNM Leadership Award!

This award recognizes nonprofits that have gone through a time of intense managerial and/or financial stress and have turned things around through leadership, strategy, and vision. We want to dedicate this achievement to the community of supporters who made this all possible! To each and every one of you who volunteered, donated, attended programming, and spread the word to family and friends—thank you for believing in us and supporting our work. We could not have done this without you!

THANK YOU!

We are so deeply grateful to everyone who came out and supported our Fall Pancake Breakfast. Whether you attended, donated, volunteered, or just helped spread the word, your kindness means the world to us. Thanks to this amazing Nashville community, we can continue providing enriching programs and activities for those we serve. Your generosity & support truly make a difference, and we couldn't do it without you. Plus, we had so much fun!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

-The SRC Team

The Senior Renaissance Center (SRC) is focused on serving older adults with free programs and activities that reduce isolation, increase quality of life, support personal growth, and empower people as they age.

A community mainstay for 36 years, SRC is undergoing its own renaissance! Our dedicated staff and volunteers have spent the past year revitalizing the center—modernizing our physical space and online presence, expanding community outreach, and introducing new programming to enrich the lives of aging adults.

At SRC, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where individuals can connect with friends, enjoy shared meals, pursue their interests, volunteer, and find the support they need. Our current program offerings include personal technology instruction, chair yoga and stretching, arts & crafts classes, and educational sessions covering topics such as history, health, science, and local resources.

The success of SRC relies on the support of our community in two key ways—participation in our biannual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser and contributions of personal items to our Thrift Shop. Together, we can continue to make SRC a vibrant community hub and ensure older adults have a space to thrive and connect.
